Turn it off, remove the card and battery, leave it overnight and then replace battery and card. This may help - if not, it is probably a repair (expensive) or replace situation, I'm afraid.

Turn off the camera, and turn on again, shown on my screen in my fuji digital camera jx650

When the camera detects an error, it will tell you to turn it of and on again. Most of the time this all solve minor problems, which are caused by a software glitch. If the error returns, you could try this. While the camera is off, remove the battery, of say a minute or so. Than reinsert the battery and switch on again.
If the error keeps coming back, you should contact a Fuji certified crevice centre.
Always make sure, the battery is charged and the contacts are clean and shiny. (battery and in the camera, the battery compartment.)

My Fuji Finepix S5100 camera keeps losing its settings and date and time when the batteries die. Is there a small "watch" type battery that can be replaced so it can keep its memory?

There is no "watch" battery in the camera. Always keep fresh batteries on hand and switch them out quickly. That usually solves the problem.

Fuji Finepix F10 reads "Card Not Initialized"

I restarted the camera while holding down the Disp/Back button (which is used to update the firmware). I did not update the firmware, but just turned it back off and on again. Problem solved. Go figure!

Can not copy/ transfer images from Fuji FinePix A370 to PC

Remove the camera's software and reinstall. If this fails to solve the problem, use a memory card reader to transfer images from the card.

Fuji finepix a600

If the camera was on when it was dropped you probably jamed the lense coil. The lense coil is what helps the camera smoothly pull in the lense and back out. Now, just to specify, what exactly are you having a problem with? Will the actual lense not go back into the camera when you turn it off; or can you not get your camera off zoom?
Let me know~

Fuji FinePix F700 LCD & Zoon Lens

Is the battery fully charged? Or is the battery near the end of its useful life? Some batteries hold a charge better than others-- I have 2, both used well, and one seems to last longer than the other...

Fuji digital camera

I think I've solved the same problem on a Finepix A350. My shutter has been sticking for months now on powerup. I brushed all round the periphery of the shutter with a perfectly clean, small, camel hair brush and now it operates perfectly! So maybe the answer is to keep a new brush specially for this. Hope this works for you! I certainly would not try dropping the camera as someone suggested.
