When taking a picture my camera's display suddenly showed a screen of stretched purple and red colors. I shut the camera off and turned it back on and it was fine for one picture then went back to the purple colors. Anyone know what could be causing this problem?
I had the same problem with my F700,recently I found a website that helped me a lot.Apparently the problem is the CCD. read this website and the problem will be solved.

Googled until I found others with same problem with this particiular camera - then researched the proper address to send the camera to for repair - after calling to make sure they would still repair the camera.
CCD failed, contact fuji, they got product recall for some camera models with faulty CCD.

I recently had trouble with the LCD Display coming up with a black screen. So I mailed it to Fuji with a letter explaining the problem. About 3 weeks later I got it back in the mail and it seem to be working fine until a month later. I turned it on and the LCD display show a black screen only now it has white lines. I'm so incredible mad and extremely dissapointed in Fuji. Reading online I have notice many people having trouble with Fuji Products. I WILL NEVER BUY a Fuji again!!!
