To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites Check this site too.

Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Visit some online sites too, which deals with electronic spare parts.

What is my Wurlitzer 1015 CD black onyx in perfect condition worth?

There is no set value for these machines. It is simply worth what ever someone is willing to pay. However there are some guidelines. Coast values are always higher, this includes the east and west coast plus the great lakes also count as "coast" pricing. The walnut model is usually a few hundred dollars less than the Black onyx. Of course a dealer would provide service after the sale and usually give you some kind of warranty, you would also expect delivery to be an option. The Dealer would have a higher price tag due to all the extras.

The auction price would be less because you have to take it with you and there would be no warranty, and if it broke a few months, you would be "on your own" trying to find a repair person. This would be the lower price that you would expect to pay.

Here is an example of a walnut model that recently sold on eBay, described as being in mint condition.

Now here is a vending company offering both models. Note the price is much higher due to the quality and the services that are also available or provided.

I have a wurlitzer juke box 1965 and it's clicked off free play, it will only now play one record at a time by keeping pressing the reset button.

The free play switch is only supposed to allow one selection on most Wurlitzers. If you email me the model number, I may be able to advise how to put it on continuous free play. My email address is [email protected].

I have a wurlitzer super star juke box. the

Hello,

I think I can clear things up for you. The free play switch you're referring to is just to add credits. If you want continuous free play, I sell you a jumper plug to bypass the credit unit, commonally called BOAC, if you have a 3600 series Super Star. Please email [email protected].

Can we install a remote control

Yep; you sure can. You will need to order the remote kit from Wurlitzer (be warned, it's not cheap...around $350.00 U.S.) I ordered mine from K&K Sales Company. If you go with them the number is 812.334.1936, ask for Dale Hendricks. Be sure to have your jukuebox's serial number, and build date (this can be found on a sticker on the back). The remote controls volume, mute, track selection, cancelling selections but does not control the power.

Wurlitzer arm keeps running

check the white plastic actuator next to the gear box, it is probably broken and not actuating the microswitch underneath it, these often fail, it may look ok,, but it actually is loose and the set screw on top of it is not clamping it to the rod.
