Hi, the periodic red light is an indicator of a circuit failure, on some Television sets the number of blinks of the light will give a general idea of what circuit is malfunctioning.These sequences change according to make and model. As mentioned before it usually points to a general area and most of the time it's best to take the TV in for an estimation to get an actual idea on what the repair will cost.

LPM (Last Position Memory) is not working at its main system control memory section. It is an IC fault, and the memory IC should be replaced. Contact any service technician. Samsung hlt4675sx/xaa lamp ballast keeps going out
Hello Leeann,

Wow 3 ballasts is too many too quick. Did this solve you problem every time?

Have you checked the voltage going to the ballast? this might be a power supply issue. The power going into the ballast should be between 320V - 380V. Please do not try to measure the power going to the lamp! The ignition charge can be 15kV and it is dangerous to you and a multimeter.. please let me know and I will try to help you get to the bottom of this

In that case you had a major failure in the power source. The tv must be tested by a repairman or someone with electronics experience.

When you turn on the TV it takes about 20 to fully turn on. sometimes we get pink lines on the screen.
