SOURCE: spin cycle

Rear shocks tend to wear faster than the front.
Try switching the front shocks to the rear. If this helps, plan on
buying 2 new ones. You will have time to search for the cheapest price... typically 25 USD @ /www.appliancepartspros.com/

SOURCE: water left pooled inside maytag neptune front loading washer

Possible explanation: Some water is left in the hose going up to the drainpipe b/c the pump can only pump water with water, not air... so when the last bit of water is sucked up, it 'stays' just the other side of the pump exit nozzle and keeps the drain tubefilled. This water gradually leaks thru the drain exit valve and back into the machine, sometimes siphoning standing water in the drain trap with it.

The valve is either electric solenoid or plastic/rubber clapper in a cylinder. Your call whether to fix or not depending on ease and cost. Probably a $20.00 part.

Cheers!

SOURCE: coins stuck in washer

I've used a butter knife or putty knife to pry them up.. just enough to allow the coins to slide back out. Just roll the drum back and forth with the knife wedged in there. Good Luck.

How do I clean the trap filter inside my Electrolux Front loader

Good Morning Deanna - Sounds like you are speaking about the Coin Trap. Below are some basic troubleshooting steps you may wish to follow to clean the trap:
· Unplug the unit.
· Remove the bottom front access panel. There are two screws one on right and one on the left towards the bottom of the front panel.
· Now that the panel is removed look inside on the bottom right hand side there is a black looking accordion thing. This is the coin trap.
· Clean the drum out with as much water as possible that you can remove and have towels ready. The next step you will have the remaining water come out of the bottom of the drum and onto the floor.
· At the top of the coin trap where it is attached to the drum is a silver spring with a silver screw. Loosen the screw and wiggle the coin trap down from the drum.
· Reach inside the coin trap and clean what is inside of it out.
· Put the unit back together following the same steps backwards.
Hope this information proves to be helpful!

I have a Maytag Neptune TL washer that won't drain. I took the front panel off and detached the hose from the pump and there were several coins in there. I removed the coins, reattached everything and...

For the FAV6800A or FAV9800A tumbler removal.

The Service manual has the procedure starting on page 37 for the tumbler removal.

It’s not difficult to remove the manual doesn’t call out the Torx driver size required for tumbler removal. You will need a number 20 Torx driver to remove the Torx screw for tumbler removal. I would get a long Number 20 Torx driver for this. See page 37 of the Service Manual for tumbler removal. Looks worse than it is.

The Service Manual for reference. Sears Parts Direct for reference.
When I did a recent Outer Tub Bearing replacement I found $1.78 in coins after removing the wash basket. Gotta check those pockets....:)

I have a post around somewhere of my diy Sump Screen I put in my FAV6800AW to protect the drain pump impeller from coins and other stuff from breaking the impeller or causing clogs. I'll look for the post or repost the pic's.........D*ick

Ge fornt load washer mod #wcvh6260fww the inner drum chatters violently in hi rpm spin-- not to be confused by the entire unit shaking-- the inner drum only

I'm having a similar problem. Mine sounds like there is something behind the drum, like maybe a coin or loose nut? It screeches horribly.
