Re: Is there a fuse for the radio?my radio cut off ,what...
Here is the fuse block diagram. Check fuses #21 and #63. The fuse box is located under the rear seat which will have to be pulled up to access the fuse box

Find the Hot wire to the radio and you can hook it to a place on your fuse box that is hot when you don't have the key on. If you do that make sure you put a inline fuse the same size as what the fuse box has the radio now. I think it is a 20 amp fuse. You will have to cut that hot wire and use the same size wire that the factory used. But you will have to cut your radio off every time when you are done listening to it this way.
When they cut your wires im pretty sure it shorted out and blew some fuses. check all you fuses and make sure that none of your wires are touching inside your dash where your radio was.
your radio does not have a fuse in the way we used to think fo a radio fuse the radio gets it's power from the power control module that is located on top of the trans axle the clock on the radio gets it's power from the IOD fuse in the relay center under the hood.
cut the fuse box out it is not really needed sense the truck has a radio fuse and if the radio overloads for some reason it will blow the radio fuse under the dash!!!
Actually, I still have the factory-installed radio in my 1999 Honda Accord, and it started cutting out randomly about three months ago. It's some kind of power issue, i.e., when I speed up, it's ok, but when I brake it cuts out. However, once it cuts out, if I hit the power window switch the radio will come back on.
I assume you didn't install the radio yourself then? Some installers put a inline fuse in. This would be located behind the radio. Some radios even have a fuse built into themselves, also on back side of radio. If those two solutions don't help ya, check the other fuses. Maybe the wiring for the radio was hooked into a different system other then the radio.
