If I turn on the t.v. cold, it works fine from anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Then the picture freezes, but the audio is not affected. No blinking lights on the front or anything. If I cycle the tv\video input through the inputs, the picture stays frozen on the screen but a whole bunch of lines or hash will also appear. If I turn off the t.v. and turn it right back on again, it will not work. HELP!
The t-con board memory, it can also be the main av board as some have a pause screen feature that can sometimes be accessed from the remote, but some remotes dont have the button. but the memory failing is the cause. so its either the memory in the t-con board or the memory on the main av board. to find out what one it is you will need to remove the t-con board lead and plug back in a second later if the screen works its the t-con board if it stays frozen its the main avi board.

try adjusting your color tuners located inside tv behind speakers.

Hi there,
I am having a similar problem with the inputs. I have a cable box plugged in to cable antenna, DVD to video 6 using HDMI, Mac computer plugged in to video 7 - using HDMI (TV does not recognize this) and then Nintendo Wii hooked up to Video 1. My problem is that Sony only realizes 2 additional components like the video 1 (wii) and DVD on video 6, it does not play the other components. I have to niw manually switch the cables to have them work...

The light is blinking a code. The code will be a series of blinks, a pause and the blinks again. Phone Sony service and give them this code. They will be able to advise you as to the problem.

Hi,
It is symptom of weak lamp in tv as lamp has been reached at end of its working hours life and lamp replacement will fix the issue. Please note that lamp is not dead or broken yet but weak in result and causing problem.
When did you replaced lamp last time? If lamp has not been replaced in last 2-3 years, then its time for new lamp in tv.
Lamp replacement procedure is easy and written in user manual.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.
