Minolta di520 ir memmory test fail  says ir memory no good err message c12a4 what does it mean what part is it talkin about how do i fix it  please help me out

C14A3 means IR fluorescent lamp fault. Check the Exposure Lamp (LA2) . The Scanner Exposure Lamp fails to turn ON. Test the voltage supply & the Lamp.

Replace the print head the device that houses the machine LASER, or the J or A printed circuit boards. Go with the LASER first if you can find one the Di520/620 are legacy machines from Minolta now Konica Minolta. Reset is Power off the Power on.

Step 1:

Remove the rear cover and in area of wastw tonwr box remove the tray blocking unit.

Step 2:

sir/mam Replace the print head the device that houses the machine LASER, or the "J" or "A" printed circuit boards. Go with the LASER first if you can find one the Di520/620 are legacy machines from Minolta now Konica Minolta. Reset is Power off the Power on.

Remove the drum cartridge then the drum and clean the sensor that monitors the drum. If not then replace the drum and or the sensor and board.

Err 99 could mean several different things, such as... Memory Card, Lens or Lens contacts....

Here's what you can try:
Remove the memory card an enable "shooting with out memory card" and see if you still get the error. If it works your memory card is bad. Try another lens if you can. Clean the lens contacts with a pencil eraser (be careful not to get eraser dust in the camera body or in the lens). Worst case scenario is, Err 99 could be related to the shutter failing which would mean a trip to Canon.

Print head is bad that is what houses the machine LASER or the J or A board is bad. check all connections to the print head first I would replace that first if you can find one, then go with the boards if you can find them.

Perform Initialize procedure or Memory clear procedure.
