I just bought a big screan Toshiba Cinema Series TV, Model # TP50H95 from a friend and the volume or speakers dont work. I have no sound can you help me set it up. I know its something simple that I am missing.

First of all make sure that whatever source you are using (cable tuner box, satellite receiver, dvd player, etc) is connected properly to the TV. If that checks out make sure that you don't have the mute function is turned on. Normally the TV will display a picture of a speaker in a circle with a line through it to let you know that mute is turned on. If you are trying to just watch TV using cable or satellite, make sure your TV is not set to SAP (Second Audio Program). Go to menu settings and check audio on?
