When I turn the machine on it makes a buzzing noise, (not loud but it might be like an alarm).

If the mixer is still running and making the buzzing noise one of the electrical contactors is making the noise and should be replaced.
If the mixer is not running and just making a buzzing noise it can be because off single phasing, check the incoming supply to the mixer and make shore you get the right voltage to the motor (test on motor connection terminals)if the voltage to the motor is right the motor might be faulty

Did you resolve the issue with the Kenmore Elite H3 Dreyer of just beeping and not turning on? I can be reached at the email below - Thanks - It lights up and just a beep and a clickng noise when you hit...

There's a thermal fuse located on the blower housing that blows when the vents and ducts are clogged or when the thermistor, also on the blower housing, fails. This thermal fuse is wired in series with the motor and if blown, power to the motor is terminated causing it no to run. The motor activates the heating circuit through the motor centrifugal switch only when the motor runs. No dryer function works then when the motor cannot run.

Access then bypass the thermal fuse and if the dryer runs, the thermal fuse is indeed blown. Make sure the vents and ducts are clear then replace the thermal fuse including the thermistor to address the problem. Do not use the dryer with the thermal fuse blown due to fire hazards. The dryer makes a new noise now when the drum is turning. It is a steady "tick -- tick -- tick -- tick --etc" which is laid over the normal sounds of the motor, the turning drum, and the...

You have done a good job of isolating the noise. Sounds like you will have to replace your drive motor. Very likely a mechanical problem in your motor, that is not going to fix itself. If you continue to run your dryer with the noise coming from your motor, you run the risk of the motor burning out electrically and causing a fire or a shock hazard. It is unlikely that this will happen, but it is possible and thereby not worth the risk of getting shocked or having a fire. The Whirlpool Duet Dryer is the best dryer built, so it is worth replacing the motor. Good luck, Appliance Specialists

I bought the fridge in 2006. In 2008 it began making a loud vibrating noise. Repairman replaced the fan motor blade.Took 30 days to get part! It was never quite right after that. Had problems with defrost...

Could all be in the fan motor. If it's bad again, I would change the motor and blade. Then fire it back up and test for correct cycling.
That may take a week of running until you get a true picture of whats happening, but they do have a lot of trouble with the motherboard./
