How to disable parental control so a password does not have to be entered every time the tv is turned on

Do the following for unlock the parental control. For this you should need the remote for the DVD payer.
1. Press the set-up button on the remote (set-up display will come on the TV screen )
2. Using Right arrow button or Left arrow button select DVD Setup menu
3. Using Down arrow select Parental control and press Enter button
4. now you can change the parental rating using up down arrows

PARENTAL CONTROL LEVELS 1-8
The Parental Lock allows you to limit the use of your DVD Player to only those DVD discs that do not exceed the rating you specify. When the Parental Control is set, DVD discs that support this feature will play only after the password has been entered. However, typically only discs produced by major entertainment companies support Parental Control. Discs not supporting this feature will be "immune" to Lock-Out. When you attempt to change the Parental Control setting, you are prompted for a password. This of course makes sense, as this option would be useless if your kids could enter the Setup Menu and disable it! If there is no user password set, you'll be prompted to enter a new password. Choose a 4-Digit numeric password and write it down in Case you forget it. Key in the password and press ENTER. After the password is set, press ENTER on the CHILD option. You can choose from 8 levels of Parental Control, corresponding to the standard rating system in the USA. The available levels and their equivalent ratings are listed to the right.



PASSWORD - CHANGE
Here is where you can set an additional password to the default factory password. The procedures to change an existing password or enter a new password are the same - you must enter the OLD PASSWORD, then key in your new password twice to confirm. If you are entering a new password, or replacing a password you have forgotten, use the factory default password of 3351 as the OLD PASSWORD. If you are changing a previously entered password, you may enter that value as the old password.

A. Remember to keep in mind that the key to the the factory default password of 3351
B. Once the factory password has been changed, you should keep the password written in a safe location as a reminder if needed

Combo Model T25208, V-Chip Forgotten Password
If you forget your password, simultaneously press VOLUME down on the TV/VCR front panel and the 0 number button on the remote for a few seconds. This resets the password and you can enter a new one.

Combo Model 13TVR62, V-Chip Forgotten Password
If you forget your password, press STOP/EJECT on the TV/VCR front panel and MENU on the remote simultaneously. This resets the password, but not the limits you’ve set.
Televisions with Parental Lock Feature

If the PARENTAL CTRL function is set to ON while you are locking out channels, each channel will go blank as you lock it. When the PARENTAL CTRL function is set to ON and a channel which has been locked out is tuned, the TV will display the words PARENTAL CONTROL to let your kids know you have locked it.

If the front panel function buttons don't work, (menu, ch up/dn etc.) but the functions work normal with the remote, enter the "Channel" menu with the remote and turn "Parental Control" off.

CTC203's
In the event you have forgotten your password, perform the following procedure:
Press and hold for 3 seconds the TV button on the remote while pressing the menu button on the TV.
This procedure will turn off the parental lock and erase the previous password .

Another Possibility To Try For Various Models: If TV's in the Parental mode and askes for a password that's forgotten, Press menu on the TV, select Parental Lock #4 on menu, then with the remote press Mute, Display, Clear, and Reset buttons in sequence.

You can enable customize Parental Controls via your TV's on screen menu. If you have previously set a password, you will need to re-enter your password to begin. If you have forgotten your password, try 0000 (four zeros) or 3448 (the default password may vary by TV model, so consult your User Manual for details). If you have never set a password for the Parental Controls, enter 0000 (four zeros). If you set a password (or believe one was set accidentally), use password 3448. You should then be able to change or disable the controls. If these steps do not work as your message indicates, your TV may require repairs. Service can be obtained by carrying the unit in to the place of purchase.

I found this info at a tech website, but I haven't tried it myself (never have used parental lock on any set).

Philips sets use 0711 as the override code to defeat parent lock. You may need to enter the code twice if it says "invalid code" the first time.

Using the remote control:

Press the MENU key. Scroll up or down until you reach AUTOLOCK or SMARTLOCK. Press the "right arrow" key. Enter code 0711. Enter it again if it says invalid code.

Once in the AUTOLOCK or SMARTLOCK menu:

Scroll to BLOCK. Press the "right arrow" key. Scroll to BLOCKING OPTIONS. Press the "right arrow" key. Scroll to MASTER DISABLE. Press the "right arrow" key. This should unlock the parental control.

if you forgot your password you can reset it ,turn tv off press and hold vol< on tv and clear on the remote for 5 sec.,enter a new password next time you access the parental control menu.

If you do not activate V-Chip, none of the settings for V-Chip will take effect.
If you forget your password, you can reset it. Enter 5898 as the password and then change it to a new one.

2. Press the button until the Parental Control icon is highlighted.
3. Press the button until the bottom PASSWORD is highlighted.
4. Enter your password using the numbers buttons on the remote (the PARENTAL GUIDE menu appears).
5. Press the button to highlight CHANGE PASSWORD, then press the button to select it.
6. Press the button to highlight NEW PASSWORD, and use the number buttons on the remote to enter
the new password. Enter it again in the confirm field to confirm the new password.

1. From the XBOX dashboard screen, go to settings and then parental control.
   
   
2. When prompted for the password, perform the following sequence using the XBOX controller: X, Y, Left Trigger, X.
   
   
3. Enter in a new password, or disable parental control entirely.
   

You can try these codes 2211 or 3308 if they do not work you will need to reset the unit. You will need to unplug it for 45 minutes that will reset the TV to factory settings. Then the pass codes I provided should work.
