Hi, The problem comes from the power supply board. The power supply board is a three phase unit. One phase on the power supply failed, that would be the reason for the no picture. You can have the power supply board repair or replace. If you are within the manufacturer warranty, they "should" replace the part ( power supply board) at no cost to you. Mike

I had exactly the same problem with a Fujitsu General PDS4208E. After looking at the forums etc bit the bullet and tracked down an ORIGINAL remote. Paid yesterday, arrived today - batteries in...screen back on!! One proviso here: Before you pay big money for an original remote (and ONLY they will work with these 2nd generation plasma screens not universal remotes) make sure that your screen WAS working before it was in the standby mode. try http://www.portables.co.uk/ on +44 208 968 1444. Ask for Andy. He seemed to know what he was talking about. About £50 +VAT plus next day delivery charge. Alternatively borrow mine at £5 a button press!! ;-))

No not power supply, it's the X and Y sustain boards. These boards have to be replaced as a pair.
Contact Fujitsu for a repair of this unit.

Its not a sound card but its something like that called main A/V board. If you remove the back cover of the tv you will find a large metal plate covering a board with all the inputs. Thats the one you are looking for. I have found 4 versions of the part so if you can just get me the part number off the board I can link you to the right one.
