That's a very nice machine, with a great owner's manual.
Once can be found online at Bernina, or several other websites that may feature your question! Look on Youtube for a video which are sometimes are by other users.

Hi you should have a plastic piece in your tool kit that holds the second spool of thread. It clips on behind the existing thread stand

then thread as normal with one thread on each side of the top tensions now continue to thread down to the twin needle.
the resultant look will be two straight lines on top and a zig zag look on the bottom
hope that helps

I just need instructions to thread a Bernina Virtuosa 160 for pintucking

Your owner's manual should have instructions for using a twin needle.

Most machines can use a twin needle. However, some machines have two tension disks so one can separate the two threads and get equal tension. (The Bernina 930 has two tension disks, so am assuming your newer machine does also.) Look at the top of your machine where the tension mechanism resides and see if there is a right and left side. In either case, do NOT thread both threads at the same time as the threads can become twisted. When threading the machine, ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot, thread one thread completely. If threading the left side of the tension disk, also thread the left needle. Then thread the second thread, making sure to use the other side of the tension disk and needle.

Just a reminder to be careful using any zig-zag or decorative stitches since a twin needle requires a narrower stitch width to avoid broken needles.

My Bernina 180 will not feed when I use a twin needle on knit fabric.

are you using a stretch twin needle; without one you'll get skipped stitches. However, the feed sounds more like a feed dog issue. Have you lowered the feed dogs for any reason? Will it sew on a woven cotton okay? If yes, but not feeding the knit then you could try turning up the presser foot pressure and see if that helps with the feed.

If you look across the needle plate with the presser foot removed and manually turn it through a stitch sequence, can you see the feed dogs coming up above the needle plate??

Skipped stitches

Try some Schmetz brand needles, they skip less than any other brand. If that does not solve the problem, you need to have it serviced.

The needle on my bernina 180 artista is hitting the hook when sewing, causing the thread or the needle to break. How do I fix this

I agree with Rick, it could be several things. It's not something a person can just start loosening screws and trying to line things up, you can do more harm then good trying to fix it yourself without the proper tools, take it to a local dealer for service!

Bernina artista 180 keeps warning to check top thread and it is threaded right

Refer to your manual for maintenance and clean the machine as indicated. A sensor may be blocked by lint.

If this continues, the machine will need to be serviced by an authorized Bernina repair tech.

How do you use the needle threading device

To the left of the top of the needle there is a little lever. Make sure the needle is all the way up by turning the wheel. Pull the lever down and a hook will go throught the eye of the needle. Place the thead across the hook and release the lever. You should have a loop of thread coming out the back side of the needle. Pull the loop and your needle is threaded.

I must be threading my bernina artista 80 wrong it does not sew. I have rethreaded it a lot of times. what am I doing wrong now

Check to ensure that the needle is inserted with the flat side to the back.

Always thread the machine with the take-up lever in the highest position.

Consult the manual for exact threading instructions.
