There are two typical problems: the drain line is clogged is most common. Unscrew the drain line at the machine outlet and blow through it, if it's clogged you will know. Sometimes the clogg is inside the machine, clean out the lint screen to see if there is a sock caught in there. Unfortunately, if there is no clog, then the water pump is bad.

Washer WPSR3100WOWW Will wash but not drain and spin... Stops at the rinse Cycle

Christina,
Does it leave water inside the tub? There are a couple of possibilitys. One could be the drain pump. If this fails the wash/rinse cycle will stop as it can sense the water not being pumped out. Can you hear the light sound of a small motot running when it goes into rinse cycle? Listen down at the very bottom far right side or far left side. If you hear the drain pump motor running is there any water discharging out the drain tube going into the wall? You should easily hear the flowing water. If not you have a few possible problems: Drain pump has an obstruction in or around it or, drain pump is actually bad.

I have a Kenmore N2. What would make my front load washer fill back up with some water after the drain and spin cycle is complete?? IF I let the washer go until it's done and go downstairs to take out,...

first, run a rinse, drain & spin cycle. after it finishes filling, shut the water supply (taps) off. If water enters the washer after the drain, it has to be sifoning back in from the DRAIN hose. Check to see if the drain hose is not going up above the washer more than a few inches

Washer will not finish its rinse or spin cycle

Check that water can drain out of the machine
1/ Check that the filter is not blocked
2/ Check drain motor is working (ie. not blocked with coins or hairpins etc)
3/ Check that pipe from tub to filter is not blocked (I had a sock blocking mine)
4/ If there is water in the filter and the drain motor runs then check that waste water hose is not blocked.

Water will not stay filled in tub on rinse cycle

It sounds like a siphon issue.
Check that the drain hose does a high loop before it goes into the drain pipe. (ie. drain hose loops above the water level inside the tub). Make sure the drain hose is not pushed too far down into the drain pipe. Also if the drain hose is sealed to the drain pipe this will create an airlock and a siphon will occur, allow air to enter between drain hose and drain pipe connection.
This should help you but if there is still a problem let me know and I'll try to assist you further.
Good luck!

Water runs into tub but does not fill?

be sure the drain hose is not lower than the wash tub this will caust the water to run out, 2nd be sure the drain hose is not pushed to far into the house stand pipe and the there is rome for air to go inbetween the drain hose and stand pipe eather of these will cause the machine to siphon mostly on rince cycle or on the 2nd and third loads you do. last your house drain could be starting to back up fill the washer with water and listen to it drain if you hear a gurggling sound in the house pipe you may need a plumber to cleanthis out for you.

Incomplete wash cycle.

It sounds as if you have something acting as a flap causing the restriction. You should take the hose that leads from the tub to the pump off and see if there is anything just inside the tub. I have noticed that alot times you could have a coin that blocks the opening. You may have to remove the inner tub to remove anything in there

Wont finish washing cycle

suspect not draining. if not then problem could be the filter. at back, remove the small panel at the bottom. you will see a hose from the bottom of the tub to the pump. remove this hose at the tub end and the filter is inside.be carefull, if machine has not drained, a lot of water will come out. disconnect from mains of course
