Display shows "check printhead"

"VHT leak detection error of left printhead,
in case of VHT exceeds rated value or falls
below the rated value."
So, error shows left printhead feeding voltage problem. It can be result of fault:
-printhead;
-Carriage relay board;
-flexible cable
-main controller.
Low speed of printing can be when printhead have overrange with it temperature; and when printing, printer makes a pauses to cold printhead. More information you can get from file PRINT INF under SERVICE MODE.
If you are a "ordinary user", looks like you can only try to change left printhead (success not guaranted!).

1. If it is still clogged, you can try to clean the printer head manually. Toclean the printer head, remove the ink cartridge from the printer. Moisten a cotton swab by dipping it in hot water or isopropyl alcohol, and then gently wipe the printer head. Do this repeatedly until it softens the dried ink.

>> Remove the print head and gently clean the head.
>> Check is there any obstructions on it.
>> Turn Off the printer for 2-3 minutes and turn On.
>> Re-insert the print head and check the status.

It may help.

i have Canon IPF 750, the display show "execute printhead cleaning, if this message is still displayed, replace the printhead"
somehow actually i just replace the head 5 months ago, and the print quality is still oke before this error issue occured. please help me.. Thank You

I've had the same problem, and finally after hours of frustration, got Canon to provide a new PrintHead at no charge

that confirms Right Print head is may be Out of Ink or near to low ink level.

check whether there is any option to Disable Alerts in printing preferences..print settings >> printer settings

If you replaced the o-ring on the headlift assembly and that did not solve the problem, most likely you may have a sensor out that controls the position of the head lift.

Since buying the L7780 printer for our business office two years ago, the printer has been a work horse for us. The problems I've seen online about scanning, paper jams and ink cartridge issues have been none existent. Then it was time to change the print head. The L7780 printed several pages before the print head error message appeared and the printer ceased printing. We tried all the solutions offered online including another print head and cartridges but to no avail. We were ready to buy a new printer. Then a member our team whom we dubbed “Service Tech 130” came up with the solution. Service Tech 130 simply pried the chips off both print heads with a screw driver and super glued the old chip onto the new print head. Now the printer has been working as if nothing was every wrong.
For this to work for those of you having the same problem, you would have to be in possession of the old print head that worked prior to the error. Attached is an image showing the location of the chip. Hope this works for you as it did for us.

1:check the usb cable or replace it
2: remove the black print cartridge clean the contacts then reinstall it
