My work fax is a HP Officejet 4355

If I cannot fix this they will take it off me and I ll have to use the one downstairs.

There is a message on the fax which asks me to look for trouble shooting regarding ink cartridge in my manual (dont have one). It has been working very well until the latest message. I cleaned the cartridges reinstalled them, switched it off and then back on numerous times. Please help I dont want to loose it.

Problem with HP is that their cartridges can easily be damaged by handling the copper connections on the front

It may be worth installing two new ones

Our HP Officejet 4355 all-in-one fax machine cannot receive fax.
Your Machine Seems to be in "Telephone" Mode, which do not automatically recieve faxes. Please refer your manual and switch it to "Fax" or "FaxTel" mode. It will recieve faxes automatically then.

The HP Officejet 4355 can print, scan, copy and fax.

You need to install the printer software to print and scan. Copy and faxing does not required software installation.

make sure the phone lins is conncetd it is working and it is getting the call when someone call on that no.also check Fax: go to menu option and choose the option fax and set the parameter like auto receive or manual set the ring auto answer mode after certain ring. If it is in auto receiving mode it will receive the fax after the ring which you set.
