Washer was running fine got to the spin now won't to anything DB appeared on the screen and it kept beeping

Not sure if you have already figured this out or not, but it may be necessary to shut off the machine or unplug it to get the access you need. I have a Kenmore front load and there are some cycles other then spin, that will not allow you to stop and open the door - water in the drum and washing is one of them.
I have not had to try to open my unit but the above is what I would be trying if you have to get the door open. If the washer is still going, then maybe try to ignore the alarm beep and let it go until it gets to a stage where you can interrupt the cycle

Washer motor control board failure is the likely problem, also check all connectors for signs of burning. Also test the washer motor.

Sounds like you need to replace the timer

Look for a blown capacitor if the other components are all fine.

Green Screen? Never heard of that, normally its a Blue Screen if there is a problem.

Give us more details on what happens when you hit the power button. Does anything appear on the screen? Do the laptop try to boot? Any lights, beeps, fans running, hard drive spinning?

You have a timer problem, the contacts are welded in spin mode.
This is almost always caused by advancing the timer by hand when the dial is pulled out in the "ON" position, causing arcing of the contacts.

So it will agitate and fill but the motor won't run during drain and spin?
If so, the likely cause is a bad lid switch. The paddle that the probe hits when the lid is down moves a small switch. That switch can do two things
1. fail internally. It will look fine outside but it won't close the circuit
2. the screw holes snap and it hangs off the wires, the probe no longer hits the paddle and the switch stays open.
The lid switch is cheap and very easy to repair.

This error code indicates that the door needs to be opened and closed.
The F26 code may appear the first time you try to use the washer. Open and close the door to clear the display.
The F26 code may also appear if the washer has run three cycles without the door being opened. Open and close the door to clear the display.
If opening and closing the door does not remove the error display, press Pause/Cancel twice.

The above procedure is the specified way by whirlpool technicians to clear the error code.

Hi just read you posting.Now when the machine was beeping was the spin light the only light that was on while it was beeping?If this is the case then my manual tells me your Motor Controller is faulty and needs replacing.Please confirm which light was on when the machine was beeping because the motor controller module is not cheap.Looking forward to your reply.

You have too many clothes in the washer. Take some out and try again
