Detaching the Monitor
If you need to repackage the monitor, please separate the monitor and base, and restore them to
the carton. To detach the monitor:
1. Unplug the AC power cord to make sure the power is off.
2. Pull the 4 hooks on bottom side of the base and hold.
3. Separate the monitor and base and put them into carton.

You are right, it is very likely!. These type of scanners either use multiple cameras or use multiple mirrors to break a segment into a focussable area and do electronic stitching. (Electronic stitching is another painful area, the scanner has to 'create' a true image removing duplicate pixels). Also with Lens there is focal length aberration. Please note even the brochure carries the statement, "Torsion stabilised" suggesting that it is succeptible for misalignment. The mirrors are kept in position by rubber pads and tiny springs, but rubber pads being sensitive atmospheric variations, there can be focussing issues. Unfortunately you cant even kick the scanner accidentally or on purpose!

Unit will not power on; is there a reset button?

I just bought a Evaporative Air Cooler SF-614P.
It worked great now zip
I bought it on eBay, but I wanted to get a air conditioning unit.
The seller sent me not a shipping label, but insisted it was.
eBay stepped in saw said Shipping label, and agreed it was not one.
He gives me a refund after many weeks of asking him for a shipping label, but he just keeps asking for more time.

OK so I called the company and tell them it doesn't work.
They said well you got a refund. It was only due to his not providing a shipping label.

Then he says "JUST KEEP IT "!!!! HE WAS MAD.
I am going to make them honor the qaurentee.
Also they say I have to get a box, and pay for the shipping label.

Did they charge you?, What you can do is cancel the money transaction or ask for a refund, when you recieve the item send it back to him immediately and report the seller to eBay, as what he did is against the terms of service. Hope this helps.

How do I make shipping labels

Hp.com has a free business card template you could use as shipping labels. Tthere are many programs available to make shipping lables. Avery.com, Microsoft Works ect.

Will not focus on any setting except macro and super macro.

Definitely sounds like it's defective, I'm sorry to inform. I've had my S2000HD for a few months, taken thousands of shots, and never encountered such a problem.

First, you need to check the return policy with the vendor whom you purchased from. If you are beyond their return/refund date, you'll need to then contact FujiFilm USA as they are the warranty holder. You will need your original receipt/invoice, and possibly a UPC from the box.

Things worth mention:
1. If having replaced by an online/shipping vendor, make sure they pay ALL shipping costs, as this was a defective product. You will need to speak to their tech support and obtain an RMA.

2. Avoid the manufacturer if you can, b/c more than likely you will need to pay to ship the item to them. They will pay to ship a replacement back, but it is likely you will receive a refurbished item.
