How do I change the resolution on my Phillips 4k tv from 720 to a higher resolution tools

The TV will select the correct/appropriate resolution based on the source. To achieve the highest resolution you will have to connect a unit (video source) capable of providing 4K using HDMI 2.0 compliant cables. To achieve any HD resolution, the video source will have to be connected to a HDMI port. The ATSC terrestrial digital broadcast signal (over the air TV) is generally 720p, but many stations transmit in 1080i/1080p.

I have a 22" Westinghouse

Change the settings on your HDMI output to 720 progressive for resolution. The tv likely cannot handle the 1080 resolution, or the tv can only use interlaced (1080i or 720i) format.

I have a symphonic lcd television and i would like to no plz if my television support for me to watch movies that comes from my pc to watch on my television ??? is their any way that i can do that...

Most HDTVs will support an HDMI connection. Here's what you have to do:

1.) Obtain an HDMI cable.
2.) Connect the HDMI to your laptop, and then to your TV.
3.) With your remote that came with the TV, select "Input" and then choose your HDMI connection.

With any luck, that should solve your problem. From there, you can go to Display in your Control Panel, and change the resolution of your Laptop if it doesn't fit the screen.I hope this helps!

Hi. I got an LED "LG LE5500"

You wil need to connect using a DVI to HDMI cable. You can get one for about 5$
http://www.amazon.com/DVI-HDMI-Cable-6ft-Male-Male/dp/B0002CZHN6
Just connect it and choose the HDMI input its plugged into(1/2/3). If there is nothing on the screen adjust the display resolution on your computer. If you are using 1080i then the resolution should 1920x1080

I want ot change my LG television Model 47LH40 to 1080p using my LG remote

1080p video resolution can only be achieved by a Blu-ray Disc. Satellite TV, broadcast TV, cable TV do not actually send out 1080p resolution. So unless you are using a Blu-ray movie, you will not be viewing 1080p. Your HDTV has a NATIVE screen resolution and the TV will SCALE all incoming video to its native resolution. Most people cannot tell the difference between 720p and 1080i. 1080p signal sources are slightly sharper. But if you have a HDTV that is 1080p capable and you give it a 1080p source (Blu-ray Disc) and use a HDMI cable to connect, you will get 1080p, you do not have to change the HDTV as it will automatically display 1080p.

How to play movies from computer on tv?

if your tv has vga in, then you need a vga to vga cable (like a screen wire) then change the resolution in the settings of windows (put 800X640 resolution before you plug tv so that you can know what is supported)

if it doesent then you cant do anything other than buying a video card with hdmi or dvi (with a dvi to hdmi) with a hdmi cable then plug it in (will auto detect)

Cannot change screen size

To get widescreen you need to connect to the TV using component, DVI, VGA, or HDMI cables. I doubt the PS2 can connect with either of those.

Non-HDCP Compliant Error

The HDMI cable was causing "Display connected non-HDCP compliant" error message to appear.
When I reconnected my DVD to TV using regular cable with 3 color connectors(i don't know what is the proper name for that cable) that error message no longer appears on my screen and I was able to watch my movie normally.
