I've had that happen to me too. Turn the player, unscrew it and remove the battery for a few seconds and then reassemble. Works every time

Try resetting it by sliding and holding power button for about 15 seconds. Go to http://www.sansa.com/support for more troubleshooting and FAQs. Hope this helps and don't forget to rate the answers.

I tried to delete some pictures and it froze up.. i can not get it to do anything,,not even turn off.. i have only had it for 2 days, why is this happening??? how do u fix this??wont even turn off??

Maybe you should try a Firmware Update, The update software is at www.sansa.com Also, with mine when I want to turn it off, I some time have to push the power button, (turning the screen on) and the push it again (turing the machine off) As for Tech support, sansa gives free support, all you need to do is call!

My sansa just froze & the buttons don't work, i can't turn it off

I had the same problem. Remove the the 4 small screws on the back, and carefully take off the back cover. Remove the black and white battery pack. After about one minute, reinstall the battery pack and put the back cover on. It should now work again.

Hope this helps.

Froze

Try prerssing all the buttons on the Sansa's face at the same time holding it down for a few seconds until the screen shuts down then turn it on again. This should work

Sansa clip froze up in play mode

First, reset.
If that fails, then try to download the Sansa Connect Recovery Tool from:
http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1532
If that still fails, upgrade the firmware from the Sansa website
If that fails, uninstall the software from the installation CD and reinstall it from the Sansa website.

It froze

Sansa Clip Player has some problem. I tried 4 sansa clip players (I purchased at Best Buy for Thanksgiving), and none of them work. Dont even try to exchange them, just return them back.
