Everyone is stricken with inoperable brain tumors, so they all become vegan and move to California, where they eat nothing but cacti and lizards.

This does not pertain to computers, so your question does not belong here. I will, however, try to answer to the best of my ability.
I have searched online and found no mention of this being a hoax, so it is believed that this did in fact happen.

A medical site could offer more information re: brain tumors, but if you want the exact information in ***********'s case, that's what you'll have to find. And it's not on the internet.

Nearly impossible, unless you are versed in OS internals, and if you were that, you wouldn't be posting a question on here.
Use a quality AV like Comodo and it should do the job.
Or, be more specific and tell exactly what the problem is... PC make/model. Operating System, virus infected, etc. - the more information you can give, the more likely you are to get a result.
