Ok, if this is a heated tub then it is possible that it works off of 220-240 Volts AC. Either you have a disconnect close to or connected to the tub, or it may be wired directly to the main home panel. One side of the 220 volts circuit breaker may be tripped. (being that what makes up 220 volts is two lines of 120) Your circuit breaker may look like it is not in the tripped position, so shut off the circuit breakers then turn them back on again and see if that may have helped.

You may have main board issues. Maybe Try error code reset.
Open front door and locate main power switch on the bottom left and turn off.
Press and hold the reset button , button on control panel.
Turn main power switch back on whilst pressing reset.
after 1 - 2 min a white screen with 1 button saying"error code reset will appear , let goo of reset button.
Press error code reset and then turn main power switch of for 20 seconds. turn main power switch.

Hello, and thanks for the question. Your error code is actually "SN" not "5N" but they are sometimes difficult to discern on the LCD topside display. The SN error code is for a Non-functional High temperature sensor which automatically kicks the heater off and trips the breaker. You can purchase new sensors for $75-$85 (it could be more, my pricing index is quite a few years out of date) I'm not sure where the sensor is located in that particular tub, although it is most likely in the heating canister. Make sure the power is off at the breaker before attempting any tub repair. if you have shut-off valves to the heating canister you may not have to drain the tub, remove the heating can and replace the sensor you will have to plug/unplug the sensors from the power pack/circuit board. POWER off the machine Main power switch is inside the machine. Keep the sub power switch on one located on the side of the control panel. Now hold down Utility/Counter button and turn on main power close cabinet then wait for trouble reset Touch it get OK then power off WAIT TEN SECONDS then power up IF IT COMES BACK DO NOT RESET IT. IT IS BROKE AND MACHINE IS TELLING YOU THAT. THIS CODE deal with the FUSER (Hot part) Can catch fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 5N error code is actually an SN error code which means one of your sensors is bad.

'Sn' is a general error message relating to the temperature sensors.

Assuming that you have a Balboa spa pack (M7 version), turn off the power and remove the spa pack cover, you'll find two temperature sensors mounted in the top of the heater tube one at each end. Follow the wiring from the sensor to the plug(s) on the PCB and check that the connections are good, they have a habit of devekoping a poor connection.

If you have a multimeter you could also check the resistance of the two sensors. They should both be the same. If they aren't the same you'll probably have to replace them.

One final thing just to check... Ensure that there are no blockages within the heater. Unless you have service/gate valves you will have to drain the hot tub, unscrew the unions and check inside the heater for debris within the heater assembly.

tub is in sleep mode usually to change u must press temp button then light button you want to b on standard mode STD
