Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you are trying to change the display from Celsius to Fahrenheit. To convert from one to the other and back, press and hold the " TEMP/TIMER" Up arrow and Down arrow buttons together for 3 seconds. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Converting 14 degrees c to f

To convert degrees Celsius to degrees Fahrenheit, you multiply by 9/5 and then add 32.

For example, 0 degrees Celsius would be 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

Another example, 100 degrees Celsius would be 212 degrees Fahrenheit.

14 degrees Celsius would be 57 degrees Fahrenheit.

Good luck,

Paul

How to switch temp. readings from celsius to degrees?

Celsius IS a temperature measured in degrees, as is Fahrenheit.
I don't know about your rig, but my guess is that you can hold down the menu button or go to "set up". Get the temp to flash, push the up/down button until the change. If you are needing to make a manual calculation, Celsius is changed to Fahrenheit by multiplying the reading X9, dividing that by 5, and adding 32 to that number.
Ex== 30 degrees C to F is 30X9/5+32= 86 degrees.

How to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit

To convert degrees C to degrees F, Multiply the Centigrade temperature by 9, then divide by 5, then add 32

Or, degrees F= (9/5 degrees C) + 32

Changing the external temperature gauge from Fahrenheit to Celsius

If your temperature reads in climate control reads in degrees Celsius "C" instead of Fahrenheit "F", follow these steps to change to Fahrenheit.

  • Turn the ignition on.
  • With the climate control turned on, push and hold the recirculation button in. While holding the button in, push and hold the off button in for 3 seconds or until you hear a beep.

The display should then change to "F". Follow these same steps to change your read-out to Celsius , if preferred.

Subzero 850 freezer temp reads minus 20 degrees

Hi,
Is it possible your unit is set to celsius rather than fahrenheit? I ran the -20c though a converter and is this is true your unit is running at -4 degrees fahrenheit and this would be a little cold but ok at this temperature. I would personally check settings before going further in to any repair. I was reaching the model you gave me and found the number you gave was incorrect. But try this; turn the whole unit off for a couple of minutes. Turn it back on, then push and hold the alarm and unit power button for 5 sec. this can only be done within the first 5 minutes of power up. This should confirm your display setting is correct, I am assuming you want fahrenheit rather then celsius. If this doesn't work for you, I will need to confirm model number so I can send you a digital version of the service manual if you need it.
Good Luck

I have a white rodgers thermostat wall unit and i cant get the air conditioner to work properly it wont go above 32 and it says it 32 in the house but its 100 and i live three flights so you know heat ...

Your thermostat is set for Celsius and 32 in Celsius is 90 Fahrenheit. Set it to 22 degrees and that should get you to about 73 degrees Fahrenheit. The t-stat is set for Celsius or Fahrenheit on the back of the unit, there should be a small switch that reads C and F, set it for F and you are good to go.
