Question about Frigidaire FRS12PYS1 12000 BTU Split System Air Conditioner
H1 on a Trane / Amanna mini split wall unit means its going thru its defrost cycle while your indoor unit is in the heating mode. Outside temps may just be too cold to constantly give you warm air. There is no supplemental heat with these units that i am aware of. The heating is not Electric its done with reversing the temperatures of the freon gas in the unit. Outdoor unit becomes a air conditioner while the indoor unit is the condensor.

Hello E, I appreciate your post!
I see that your Frigidaire air conditioner is displaying an error code of "H1". I have reviewed the air conditioner and the "H1" error code could be an "HI". The "HI" error code means that the room temperature is above the display range. I would recommend performing a reset on your air conditioner. In order to reset the air conditioner you need to unplug the power cord you can press the reset button and then the test button that should restart your air conditioner. If that does correct your issue I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this information is helpful for you. -Matt

Hello friend, thank you for your post!
I understand that your Frigidaire refrigerator is providing a "H1" error code. However, "H1" is an invalid code. I show a code for "HI" and that stands for high temperature in the freezer compartment. If you are receiving this error code but your temperature is cold inside your freezer it could be a miscommunication within the board and I would perform a reset on your appliance by flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. I hope this helps. -Matt
Hello - Could it possibly be HI? Typically error code HI indicates that the unit has detected high temperature in freezer. Try setting the unit to a lower setting. Generally the factory setting is 0 for the freezer temperature and 37 for the fresh food temperature.
