I have a epson 9800 that reads service call error error code 0001000C. I have just done a cleaning , powered up and that is what it reads

Yes, the error code indicates it is a thermistor problem and it means the problem is with the printhead of the printer, the solution for this problem is replacing the printhead, but before that, you can try to remove the printhead from the printer and then clean the contacts with a cotton swab and distilled water, after that dry them up and reseat the printhead very carefully.

its a carriage home position sensor error u have to clean the sensor and the stip guide which has been attached on carriage... its due to dust on sensor.

its timing disk dusty error please clean all sensors of carriage and the stip of timing .....thanx
