My e studio 232 is working but everytme i use the autmatic document feeder or even in put the orignal from the flaten glass the copy output will adjust down not less than one inch. is there any adjustment? please help..

When you lift/ open the ADF you should see a tab in the back corner (slightly in from the corner) of the ADF. This tab is for the machine to see that the ADF is closed. Make sure tab is there. On its sister model they used a depression switch, check that and make sure it is there and working properly.

SOURCE: copies run through feeder distorted

Document feeder Paper feed rollers should be cleaned with alcohol, blow out the document feed area with compressed air (computer duster), check feeder for bits of paper, post it notes, and signature flags. Clean glass, check for sticky areas on the glass.

On the rear left side of the copier there should be a black hinged actuator sticking up out of a hole in the panel, directly opposite of that there should be a white plastic tab that pushes that actuator down. If not try taping the actuator down flat with the cover.
