I have a 2009 Kai magentis, I need to replace wind shield, does the wind shield have a censor in it or can I place with ordinary windshield

ask supplier of winshield
The most common modern rain sensors are based on the principle of total internal reflection: an infrared light is beamed at a 45-degree angle into the windshield from the interior - if the glass is wet, less light makes it back to the sensor, and the wipers turn on.

What causes weathering

Entropy. All matter will go from an organized state to a disorganized state unless an outside force acts upon it. Cars will rust. Man can take rust out of the ground and produce steel with it. Weathering of rocks and landscapes are from wind, rain, acid (or chemical reactions) acid rain. The wind can erode using particles of sand to beat rocks and take layers off. gravity too allows erosion to wear sand and mud to gradually go into the sea or be carried off to other parts of the world.

When it rains hard and there is a lot of wind the rain gets into the chimney and drips through a ceiling light. Is there a chimney cap that I can buy that will eliminate the problem?

Hello,Yes there is a cap for every size chimney BUT that (while always being a great idea) will only prevent a WASHDOWN & keep pests and leaves out.The celing light conserns me that the roof flashing is leaking near the chimney during wind driven rain.Try a cap it can't hurt & I hope it works.

you could try replacing the shock absorbers, use a stiffer/firmer shock. ( check out "bilstein" shocks). inspect the sway bars, look at the rubber mounts, make sure they are still in good condition. Or maybe install a aftermarket sway bar. also see if you can adjust the ride height of the suspension. I can adjust the ride height on my 89 Mark VII. up or down.

Is there a safe design to put around an ascot water heater as the tiny flame is blown out by the wind and it gets wet in the rain

Judging by the fact that the wind and rain are a factor here I would recommend that you build an enclosure around this unit. as long as you leave about 6 inches all the way around the water heater and put a large vent in the door then an enclosure is a good idea. Hope this helps. Good luck.
