It should be capable of displaying any standard format (*.avi, *.mpg, *.mov, *.Mp4, h.264), etc except something like the new 4K Ultra High Definition which could still probably be displayed but the quality would be lost.

I have had a play with one of these....

I Used 2G mem card, formatted to FAT32
Video format 470 x 270 (16:9)
Frame Rate 25 Fps
Compression = XVID
Audio MP3 22Khz (128kbps)
Name file VideoA.avi for trigger by PB1 connector
Name file VideoB.avi for trigger by PB2 connector
Name file VideoC.avi for trigger by PB3 connector
Name file VideoD.avi for trigger by PB4 connector
Name file VideoE.avi for trigger by PB5 connector

Not sure how to copy the video into the screen, but mem cards are so cheap, it's not really a problem ;)

Which type of video mp 605 4gig playing

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Yes there is a high probability that the 5v power supply has suffered damage. Anyways just check if the drive is ejecting properly without placing any DVD. If it doesn't then its confirmed that the ps is the culprit. try it and let me know..
