I Used 2G mem card, formatted to FAT32
Video format 470 x 270 (16:9)
Frame Rate 25 Fps
Compression = XVID
Audio MP3 22Khz (128kbps)
Name file VideoA.avi for trigger by PB1 connector
Name file VideoB.avi for trigger by PB2 connector
Name file VideoC.avi for trigger by PB3 connector
Name file VideoD.avi for trigger by PB4 connector
Name file VideoE.avi for trigger by PB5 connector
Not sure how to copy the video into the screen, but mem cards are so cheap, it's not really a problem ;)
Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the video files to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer. presario rp d is used for the operating system if you format u wont be able two use system recovery which it doesnt affect your computer if u format it bbut its all on the user ...
for the RP-5, this is the procedure that worked for me:
1. hold the preset up button
2. apply power to unit
3. release preset button
4. press value up button
Yes there is a high probability that the 5v power supply has suffered damage. Anyways just check if the drive is ejecting properly without placing any DVD. If it doesn't then its confirmed that the ps is the culprit. try it and let me know..
