Yes, you can scan 2 or more pages in one file if you scan as pdf file and you use the top feeder to scanned multiple pages. SET YOU SCANNING FEATURES TO SCAN AS PDF not JPEG FILE.

The HP support website doesn't specify that you would be able to do that. Normally, in the scanning preferences from where you scan/preview the document, you would have a radio button to tick for multiple pages.
Alternatively, you can use this site to combine your PDF files into a single one: http://www.mergepdf.net/ Simple click Pick PDF, select your files and then click Merge PDF, when it will finnish you can download the file.
i thinks most scanners will let you press "Enter" for each page to scan multiple pages and then press "Finish" to actually start scanning.. this should print everything into one document
Scanning a multi-page document as a .pdf file reverts the settings for rotation, selected area, etc. to default for any pages after the first page. This applies to Mac OSX 10.3, 10.4, & 10.5. A simple, but tedious work-around is to scan each page as a separate file and easily recombine them using OSX Preview. Just open the first page, view the Sidebar, and drag-drop the additional page files into the sidebar. Save and it's all one multi-page .pdf.
If you want to scan multiple pages, go to HP Scan Pro, click on the SCAN menu, and then make sure that "Documents" is checked under "New Scan." This will allow you to scan multiple pages and it will scan black n white or color...whatever you place on the glass.
What do you mean scan? Is it from the printer to the computer? Or just plain copy? When you want to scan to the computer, you need a software that can scan multiple pages. HP's document feeder can copy and fax multiple pages, so if the software supports multiple pages scanning, then I'm sure it can.
