Kenmore ultra fresh side side 59507990

828a4e4f-c0b3-4029-a7f5-35b92db8b7ad.jpgKenmore model numbers look like this example=> 321.1234578 Are you sure that the water in the ice maker is melting and flowing down into the ice bin? What may be happening is the water control valve for the ice maker may be allowing water to continue flowing into the ice maker tray even when off due to the water control valve being defective. If your refrigerator also has a water dispenser and the water is not continuing to leak is because the water control valve has to sides. One side is for the ice maker and the other side is for the water dispenser. I am here if you have questions, Thanks Sea Breeze

My refrigerator won't dispense ice cubes or crushed ice or water at the front door, I was wondering if it could be the Touch pad control panel on the front of the refrigerator. If it is can you give...

The front touch pad board /panel which you are referring is called dispenser board. To access the dispenser board assembly, click this link below:---
http://howtobyme.blogspot.com/2011/06/ge-side-by-side-refrigerator-will-not.html ------------ The dispenser board removal procedure is mentioned at the last on the link instructions.-------- -------------- But the engineer at your place has pointed you to right direction. The main control board is most probably the cause of problem. One more important thing. There are many other users too facing same problem with there ge side by side refrigerators. This problem occurs in many ge model refrigerators. There was service letter released by Ge for this problem.Click this link, to read the letter:--- http://howtobyme.blogspot.com/2011/07/ge-side-by-side-refrigerator-wont.html -----------

I have a Jenn-aire JSD2695KES - it is a side by side, a couple of years old with an ice maker. Ice gets jammed in the last ice spot in my ice maker. It has been getting stuck in other spots lately, too,...

That sounds like a frozen over water fill tube due to a leaking water control valve. You may need to pull the ice maker out to see it but what you described is what happens when this happens. If frozen over the water will still come out on some models because there is a split in the top of the fill tube. Or something needs corrected on the amount of water time is OK for your ice maker. let me see if I can find the service manual for your model Be back soon Sea Breeze

I have a Whirlpool refrigerator model et22dq. The ice maker makes ice and dumps it but won't dispense thru the door. It seems to freeze in the ice bin. Could there be a water leak inside the ice maker?...

The ice door located in the ice chute in the door is not closing. Allowing wam air in your ice bin which melts the ice at the bottom of your bin there for making a huge ice dam. Replace cirercut board at cost of 295.00

Ice maker not getting water after changing filter

Check the following:
Is the freezer door closed completely?
Is the ice storage bin installed correctly?
Is there ice in the storage bin?
Has the ice frozen in the storage bin?
Is ice stuck in the delivery chute?
Has the wrong ice been added to the storage bin? Use only
cubes produced by the current ice maker.
Has the ice melted around the auger (metal spiral) in the
ice bucket?
Dump the ice cubes and clean the ice storage
bin.
Is the ice dispenser stalling while dispensing “crushed”
ice?
Change the ice button from “crushed” to “cubed.” If
cubed ice dispenses correctly, depress the button for
“crushed” ice and begin dispensing again.
Has the dispenser arm been held in too long? Ice will stop
dispensing when the arm is held in too long. Wait 3 minutes
for dispenser motor to reset before using again.

The ON/OFF switch is located on the top right side of the freezer
compartment.
To turn the ice maker on, slide the control to the ON (left) position.
To manually turn the ice maker off, slide the control to the OFF
(right) position.
NOTE: Your ice maker has an automatic shutoff. The ice maker
sensors will automatically stop ice production, but the control will
remain in the ON (left) position

REMEMBER:
Allow 24 hours to produce the first batch of ice. Discard the
first three batches of ice produced.
The quality of your ice will be only as good as the quality of the
water supplied to your ice maker. Avoid connecting the ice
maker to a softened water supply. Water softener chemicals
(such as salt) can damage parts of the ice maker and lead to
poor quality ice. If a softened water supply cannot be avoided,
make sure the water softener is operating properly and is well
maintained

The Dispenser Lock (on some models)
Your dispenser can be turned off for easy cleaning or to prevent
unintentional dispensing by small children and pets.
NOTE: The lock feature does not shut off power to the product, to
the ice maker, or to the dispenser light. It simply deactivates the
dispenser levers. The ice and water dispensers will not work.
Style 1: Press the LOCK BUTTON to lock the dispenser. Press the
UNLOCK button to unlock the dispenser.
Style 2: Press and hold the LOCK OUT button to lock the
dispenser. Press and hold the LOCK OUT button a second time to
unlock the dispenser.
