When I connect to my computer it gives me a message saying device not recognized

Merry Christmas!!!

Greetings for the festive seasons!

It seems like you are connecting a USB device to our computer. USB is a PNP bus. whenever you connect anything to USB, some handshaking is done by the OS with your USB device, so as to recognise its class (if it is a storage device or printer etc,) and other details like its manufacturer, capacity etc. If, for any reasons, this handshaking is not done, this error is raised.

to solve this problem, try following things

1. change cord and try again.
2. If it is a USB hard disk, try twin USB cable. where single USB end is connected to the USB hard disk, and twin USB side (both the pins) are connected to the. PC. It happens, when device is consuming more power, so some additional power is needed to drive it.
3. If it is a mobile, printer or camera, install drivers first and then connect the device.
4. If you are connecting it to front USB ports and the wiring inside is made incorrct. This nmay cause damage to any device you connect to that port. if any other product is working on that port, then simply rule out this probability
5.Try different port, as the device you are using may be using higher version (USB 2.0 or USB 3.0). but this is rare case, as PC itself will prompt you by "This device can work faster"
6. Device itself is faulty. try connecting, similar device to your PC and confirm.

If it is not solved, give brief description of what are you connecting to your PC and what have you tried before.

USB taking too long to transfer vista

Note that USB ports (in your computer) and USB devices can either be "USB 1" or "USB 2" speeds.

While "USB 2" to "USB 2" connections are up to 480 Mbits/second,
any "USB 1" to "USB 2", or "USB 1" to "USB 1", connections,
will max-out at only 11 Mbits/second.

So, check that you have a "USB 2" device.
then check that you are connecting to a "USB 2" port on your computer.

Give more details about your computer, and your USB device.

My computer cannot detect usb my computer model is 6bxa-61 samsung

You were saying that your computer could not detect any USB devices? Or just one USB device? Alright, you need to isolate the problem, follow the steps below:

1. Use at least 3 USB devices and connect them one at a time to the USB ports of your computer. If the first USB device is not detected, mark the USB port on your computer with "X" mark.

2. Now, connect the same USB device to another USB port of the computer. If you get the same problem, use the second USB device and connect it to the computer. If all 3 USB devices are getting the same problem connecting in all the USB ports of the computer (either on the front or on the back of the computer), then you need to update or re-install the USB driver to your computer.

3. Contact the manufacturer if the computer or the board and see if they could provide a USB driver for *********** board. Tell them what operating system (OS) you are currently running.

Have a great day!

Music software of Samsung YH-925 20 GB MP3 can't regcognized the device

You may get the error that you're getting if there's a problem with the USB port of the computer, with the USB cable, or with the USB port of the device itself.

Try connecting the Samsung mp3 device to a different USB port of your computer. Usually, it's best to connect the device on the USB port at the back of the computer. Make sure that the USB cable is properly inserted on the USB port of the device and on the computer.

You may also try connecting the Samsung mp3 device to a different computer to isolate the problem.

Another isolation is to try connecting a different USB device on the computer, just to check if the USB ports of the computer is working properly.

Try using a different USB cable also, if you have any.
