I cannot print a document created in Quark on my HP DeskJet 5150.

I am on Vista and this was working late last year. The printer does respond and makes a few clicking sounds like its waking up but that's all that happens. If I create a PDF of the Quark document and send that to print, it works just fine. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

HP Deskjet 5110 attached to a Vista laptop wont print PDF documents. When trying to print I get a message to install a printer, but I cant print from every other source OK.

If you are using Adobe Reader, check if your printer is still the default printer if you still have problem printing, then check the printing preferences in Adobe. In the Adobe Print dialog Box clic advanced preference, under postScript Option select "Send for Each Page" for "Font and Ressource Policy"

I have an HP 5150 Deskjet in my office. The low ink light was blinking so I changed the cartridge and it is still blinking and won't print the documents I send...any advice?

All you need to do is uninstall the printer compltely - reboot the computer and reinstall the printer again. and Printers that take two cartridges will not print with only one cartridge loaded. So check that too.

HP Deskjet 5150 print is too small

Printers try to fit web pages on a single sheet of paper. If you configure the printer, in the print dialog, not to shrink images and text to fit the paper, it will print on multiple sheets of paper, but the correct size for the images and text.

In a Word document, it depends on what font size you have selected. Most people would rather have the web page print on a single sheet, with smaller images and text than were on the monitor; than tape together multiple sheets for 100% size printout.

My hp printer is not showing up as a choice of printers

You have to go to Utilites drop down menu while your quark file is open and go to PPD manager and add that printer. Quark is the only one that you have to do this way. All other programs will do it automatically when you load the printer in your PPD.

Printer won't print

Don't have a solution...only a problem. I compose a document with "Word" on my Mac OS X 10.4.11 and hit print, but my HP Deskjet 5150 spits out a  blank (on preview the document is also blank). Where do I go from here (on occasion, it does print out download material).

Cannot print from QuickBooksPro99 to HP DeskJet 5150 Printer after installing new Vista software. Thank you, [email protected]

If you upgraded to Vista, the only versions of Quickbooks that are compatible are 2008 and 2009. If you want to continue using Quickbooks and Vista together you will need to upgrade. (Sorry - I know this isn't what you wanted to hear.)

Duplex printing

Greetings...

From the HP site...

This download includes a Print Driver only. This driver makes it possible to use the basic functions for the printer. HP will not be providing a Full Featured Vista Software and Driver for this product; therefore, some functionality may be lost when you use this product with Windows Vista.

What you can try to do is...

Uninstall the Vista driver and install the XP driver... this has worked for some HP printers...
