It has a reset button on the lower back right hand corner; push that button.

Hello, the light should be blinking in a pattern, count the blinks, there may be two different blink patterns. Let me know what you find out....tks

The simple answer is.

Open the back, find the power board, replace the big capacitors.

I had the same problem with my 55 inch Samsung TV (blinking red standby light and a clicking sound when the TV was turned on, TV would not come on). After checking components on the power supply board I found that the five 33 ohm (orange-orange-black) resistors and changed value. Each resistor measured approximately 3.6 ohms.
I replaced all five resistors. Now the TV works.

If a light is blinking it is usually as set will not turn on---shutdown---some sets have a idiot light that is on all the time and blinks but that is rare.
