Tv wont turn on

A bit more info - when I hold won Device and Menu, I get error code 12, which i think indicates No error found. Does that still point to the DM? Thanks! I have a similar problemwith my 55859, had the blinking green light and nothing else. Replaced the 7 capacitors  on the DM and powered up the TV. CRT's come on then dim, no audio or video. Then TV shuts off after about 5 minutes When checking I get .error code 12. I checked the F9A02 F9A03 F9A04 F9A05 and all were good. Any ideas or suggestions. Sounds like I'm having exactly the same problem. Power light comes on for about 3 seconds, then goes off. Tried unplugging and holding power button down for about 15 seconds and then plugging back in after about 30 minutes. No luck, Sounds like I'm having exactly the same problem. I am having the same problem. however I am living in Costa Rica and there are no Mitsubishi service reps here. i have my tv in a local electronics shop and the repairman seems to think he can fix it but he is unable to find parts. What can I do?

Although it's happened before and corrected itself, I don't think I can get it working this time.  It's been plugged in a few days without being used and it's still doing this.  Otherwise, same "timer" problem.

I had the same problem twice - the second time it was a faulty DM board only $125.00 since it was just out of warranty. The first time was about $600.00!!!!!
