Wont switch on properly

go to the mustek site & try the files for the h140 , the software files appear to be the same but wont run on vista or win 7

With music (or whatever)playing hold down V button (left hand side of control circle)til volume adjustment screen comes up-a blinking speaker. Press PRE or NEXT button (top and bottom arrows) to adjust volume.

Follow the steps
01. Sansa player freezes on the “Refreshing Database” screen STEP 1 – Reset the device

1. Slide the Power switch up and hold it for approximately 20 seconds.
2. Release the Power switch once the device is powered down.
3. Turn the device back on.

STEP 2 – Download and Install the Sansa Firmware Updater.

No worries. Instead of going to the default "Music" menu, you must have shut off your player when you were in the "Now Playing" menu. Just press the "menu" button to go to the main menu, and go from there.

hold the power button for a SLOW 20 sec, then power up with NO PROBLEM!

no probs..jus get it serviced...format ur pc once...every thing will be ok...

Either try replacing the screen or if the player has firmware to either update it or reinstall
