Question about Microsoft Computers & Internet
After a Windows upate I am unable to connect my Sony Laptop computer to the internet. Windows diagonistics program states "Intel(R) WiFi Link 4965AGN" is experiencing driver or hardware related issues. I cannot locate the orginal driver disk that came with the computer, however, I can access the internet using my other computer. Please advise me as how to proceed. Thank you very much. Ray L Sony Computer Model number PCG-6W1L
Most if not all of sony's drivers can be found at their support website, at this link ( http://esupport.sony.com/perl/select-system.pl )
According to the support website you may have a more specific model number that can be found either on the bottom of your laptop, somewhere near the base of your screen.
After you pull up the correct support page find the drivers link and then find the network or wireless section, click to download and then put the driver on a thumb drive or burn to a cd. Install it on your laptop and your driver problems should be history.
