If the charger does not help it to turn on, try turning on the PC without the battery, OVERALL, YOU JUST NEED A NEW BATTERY... good luck!
P.S. "Never let them charging un-attended and or over night.."

Seting up hdmi on sinotec tv to laptop

Normally with external displays the easiest way to do it is make sure the laptop is connected to the internet. Then turn off the laptop..now turn on the TV and connect the hdmi cable to the TV. Now switch the TV input to hdmi.
With the laptop still turned off connect the hdmi cable to the laptop.
Now you have everything connected, turn on the laptop and the laptop should find the TV and download any drivers it needs.
And that should be everything you need to do.

My lenovo G460 laptop doesn't turn on ?

Did you have exhausted the battery power? If so, maybe the laptop can't turn on as soon as you plug in the ac adapter, as you can try to let the laptop charged for a time and then turn on the laptop to see if every thing is well.

My laptop in turn on but not charging and i turn off charging

sounds like you have replaced the laptop charger for the laptop to a universal charger and not an original.

Computer won't boot up. Could hear a grinding noise on the top left side (opposite side of the HDD). Took the bottom cover off and reconnected the battery and power. The fan (assume it's the processor fan)...

Hi,

You can try the following steps:

1. Unplug the power from the laptop and remove the battery then press the power button of the laptop for 15 seconds

2. Put the battery back in, turn on the laptop without plugging the power to the laptop (If this didn't resolve the issue)

3. Remove the battery and press the power button of the laptop for 15 seconds, after that, plug the power cord and turn on the laptop (if this didn't resolve the issue)

4. Remove the power cord and press the power button of the laptop for 15 seconds, disconnect the Hard drive and turn on the laptop (If this didn't resolve the issue) reconnec the hard drive

5. Remove the Optical Drive and turn on the laptop (If this didn't resolve the issue) reconnect the optical drive

6. Remove the memory chip, if you have 2 memory chips installed in the 2 memory slots (remove both of them) now test each one of the memory to each slots turning on the laptop. (If this didn't resolve the issue) Put the memory chip back in

7. Reseat the CPU and try to make sure that it's installed properly. Turn on the laptop and test if it's gonna work (If this didn't resolve the issue)

8. Reseat the power cords coming from the power supply of the laptop and test the laptop. (If this didn't resolve the issue)

9. Disconnect everything and just leave the CPU installed and turn on the laptop.

10. If all else fails, there's a big possibility that the problem may be with the power supply or the motherboard of the laptop.

(Note: you may try to clean your computer if there is a large amount of dust. You may try to remove the CMOS battery)

My laptop won't turn on.

Let's try to determine where the problem is. Since you didn't mention the Brand, model or operating system, I'll try to wing it. Turn everything off. Take out your battery. Turn the system on without the battery in place. Does it turn on? Yes means the battery is bad. No means either the laptop or charger are bad. Go to Best Buy and purchase one of their laptop chargers (must be for your brand). Now try to turn on laptop without battery in it and with a new charger. Does it turn on? No means there's a problem with the laptop. Yes means your old charger was the culprit. If no put in the battery and wait a couple of hours. There are some laptops that still use an old circuitry that the battery must be in for the unit to turn on.
