My neighbor found a Nextel, Motorola i860 cell phone and gave it to me. I purchased a charger for it and assumed that I could just insert my Cingular Sim card and hit the ground running. Not the case... After charging, the phone seemed to work fine until I removed the previous owners sim card and inserted mine. At that point the phone prompts me to "Enter Special Code Now". I didn't have to enter any code at all when the other sim card was in the phone. I tried 00000000 and the last eight numbers of the phone number of the old sim to no avail. I'm afraid to try a third lest I lock myself out completely.
Any help?

I got a i860 from a friend and they took their nextel sims out, why cant i put my t-mobile sims in their or is there a code so i can at least see the menu to see if it works before i get a nextel sim?
