You can use 'Safe mode with networking' (press F8 when computer start few times in 1 second interval, and menu with this option will come). Going to ESET (Nod32) Online Scanner:

Scan computer with recover-cleaning option on.
Some viruses are hard to clean, and one of option is using live CD linux (Mint) and share partitions, and than connect with network cable and clean with antivirus from another computer.

You have free good AVG antivirus (for home users).

Windows without antivirus is very bad thing.

For that purpose, I use linux Mint (based Ubuntu and Debian). And don't need antivirus software.

If you run it in Windows 7 in Windows 95/98/00 or NT 4.x compatibility mode then there is no reason why it wouldn't work. To do this;
1. Right-click on the executable (.exe) file and click on 'Properties'
2. Click on the 'Compatibility' tab
3. Check the box next to 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:'
4. Select 'Windows 98/Windows Me', 'Windows 2000' or 'Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 5)'
5. Click 'Apply' then 'OK'
6. Double-click the executable (.exe) file to open.

You will need your password and username for panda software.
Go to www.panda.com ,find downloads for clients.enter your info.
If you do not have info they will e mail it to you.

Dowload the sofware and install.

it is ok sir. but make sure to install necessary software drivers. most probably you need to download the NT Version of your drivers.

try to ran it from

c:\windows\system32\ cmd.exe

rightclick on it and select run as.

if its not working from there then in that case your system profile may be corrupted.In that case you need to reinstall windows.

After this please ensure that you run a full scan on the system.Also keep your Antivirus software updated.

Up to service pack 4 at least..for Win2k. Are you really trying to do anything with NT 2.51 still??
