Will your computer read from the Pendrive as the primary drive in the boot sequence? Is your pendrive a bootable one? Do you have the Operating system on your pendrive ?
Most of those Windows to USB applications are for creating an Windows USB installation, not actually installing an operational OS on the USB. Does that make sense?
You would have to run the setup and choose the drive to where to install the OS. This would mean you would have to do it from a CD/DVD disc or have two USB drives, but this may cause a conflict.
You need to make sure that the pendrive has a bootable copy of your operating system or it won't work. The way you seem to be using it is unusual. you would have to have installed the OS onto your pendrive instead of a hard drive.
install your os in pendrive but you must have big space pendrive. in time your boot computer, select your first boot in bios to usb flash. then you will be able to use windows from pen drive.
let's say that you want to install fresh O.S, but you don't have CD drive. copy the contents of the operating system on a pendrive and then to your hard disk. after that, run the autorun or setup file and boot manually through windows.
note: do not place the files of OS on the drive where you are going to install.
Hi I am Vortash I suspect that the boot configuration in your bios is not set to boot from the usb or removeable drive therefore it will not look for your Os installation files on your pendrive .. you need to go to your bios then look on boot and set the first boot to removeable then the second to disk .. this will allow the computer to A find the installation boot files on the pendrive and B boot from the hard disk once the files have been installed .Hope this is of help regards vortash
first you can go to the bios set up , then change 1st boot device pen drive and save it .then restart the pc and install os. other applications install so you can insert the pen drive and open then select the application and open then install processing.
