While using the microwave it all of a sudden started making audible sounds and the display would just go crazy, then a lock would show up in the display locking the oven out. After unplugging it will reset but soon just start making audible sounds and the lock would show up again and eventually lock it out and it will not work. Help
This is most often caused by a bad magnetron "scrambling" the controller, a bad connection on the controller, or a controller failure. Try to use the "timer" function of the oven. Make it count down without cooking for about a minute. If it works, then it's more likely to be a bad magnetron. If it still fails, it's probably a problem on the controller.
