Zanussi Lindo 300..keeps adding water to finishing spin cycle

If your Zanussi Lindo 300 washing machine keeps adding water to the finishing spin cycle, there may be a few possible causes. Here are some steps you can try to diagnose and fix the problem:
  1. Check the Drain Hose: Make sure that the drain hose is not clogged or kinked, which can prevent the water from draining properly. Try removing any blockages or straightening any kinks in the hose.
  2. Check the Water Inlet Valve: The water inlet valve may be faulty, which can cause the washer to continue adding water. You can try cleaning the valve or replacing it if it is faulty.
  3. Check the Pressure Switch: The pressure switch controls the water level in the washer. If it is faulty, it can cause the washer to continue adding water. Try cleaning the switch or replacing it if it is faulty.
  4. Check the Control Board: The control board is the brain of the washer and controls all the functions. If it is faulty, it can cause the washer to not operate correctly. Try resetting the control board or replacing it if it is faulty.
  5. Check the Door Lock: The door lock may be faulty, which can cause the washer to not enter the spin cycle and continue adding water. Try cleaning the lock or replacing it if it is faulty.
  6. Check the Motor: The motor may be faulty, which can cause the washer to not enter the spin cycle and continue adding water. Try resetting the motor or replacing it if it is faulty.
If none of the above steps work, it may be best to contact a professional technician for further diagnosis and repair. They can inspect the washer thoroughly and ensure that it is working correctly and safely.

Normally my washer i put on heavy and its on 47 min. I put it on heavy now and it says 1 hr 48 min and it will spin but no water comes out for 5 minutes then the time goes from 1:48 to 3 minutes left

Hi David Simpkins - Based on the symptoms you are describing, the washer may be experiencing a communication issue with the control board or faulty wiring. You may reprogram the washer by disconnecting the power to the unit up to two minutes by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on. If issue persists, I would recommend contacting a professional to proceed further.

I just replaced the cold water fill valve in my GWL11 and turned on the machine. All worked GREAT except the hot was cold and vice versa. Ooops, I had the hoses connected backwards, so I powered off t

a hose swap will not kill the board. But unplugging the unit with the machine turned on might kill the board... moving the power plug, or circuit breaker with the board 'alive' /turned on.. can cause damage.

My washer goes into spin cycle byitself and when washing,if u r in spin cycle it sets for 14 mins thats good 4 mins into spin all knob lights start flashing and the screen says uL

One thing to understand is that this is a difficult problem to pin down and may end up requiring the control board to be replaced.

The UL or unbalanced load error is displayed when the control board senses an out of balanced load.

You don't indicate if the washer is actually out of balanced or not when the code appears but the description of banging and shaking would indicate it is out of balanced.

If the washer consistently bangs and shakes in spin then I's suggest you remove the spin basket and check under it for obstructions that might prevent the washer from spinning smoothly.

This sounds like a bad main control board. Try unplugging it for 10 minutes then replug an try again. If you get the same results replace the main controller.

My fridaire front load washer will not spin at high speed

HI. Your unit is equipped with a Motor Speed Control Board. This board regulates the spin speed, with the help of a tachometer, which, is located and mounted on the motor. When this Control board is experiencing issues, the spin will not preform at optimal performance. I recommend to replace this Motor Control Board asap. Once replaced, the unit will spin properly.

Washer fills with water and thats it

Possible a bad motor control board. Depending on the age of the washer, you may need to replace the motor control board and the motor as a kit. Also be sure to test that the motor control board is getting power, I've seen cases of the motor/ motor control failing and taking out the main control also. The tech sheet is in the console and should walk you through the steps.
