It's not "rocket-science".

The green-coloured plug goes into the green-coloured socket on the back of your PC.

Plug the AC power-adapter to a wall-socket (or socket on a power-bar).

Use the ON/OFF switch, and adjust the volume.

start by making sure scanner is plugged directly into the wall socket, not a power strip. then make sure connection on USB is good(switch sockets on computer end).

disconnect the power adapter. Reinsert the power adapter directly into the wall socket. Remove any power strips or surge protectors temporarily to ensure that these items are not preventing the 2wire's proper operation. make sure you are using the power adapter that came with the modem. Plug the power adapter into a different wall socket in another room.

There is no installation disks for them, plug them in to the socket in the wall turn them on if there is a switch on them. and then plug the lead into the green socket at the back of the PC and they should work.
