I hit something on the keyboard that made my monitor go blank

The specially colored "Fn" key is intended to work for extra functionality. Try combining the Fn + Function keys where key symbols vary from system manufacturer so I can't tell how which key will work to re-enable your screen back (try Fn + F7).

Stuck in harbernation

you can't get stuck in hibernation. just do a hard reboot and if that doesn't work then do a safe mode boot up. If that doesn't work try booting up with the windows disk. finally if none of that works its your computer thats messed up not hibernation

My Vaio doesn't go to sleep/hibernate when closing the lid

Maybe the little sensor or pin that sticks up and is pushed in when you close the lid is broken and the software doesn't realize the lid has been closed.

Want to know how to undo FN Hotkeys: i.e., FN Esc. How may I reactivate screen after I put it to standby, 0r FN F1 when in Hibernate mode. Please notify how to properly activate and DEACTIVATE...

Trying using the "numlock" key it should undo the Fn hot keys. If your notebook is in hibernate state, using the power-up switch on the notebook will activate you notebook. This will ask you for a password, if you have been using one to logon to you notebook. The FN+F4 or F5 will toggle between a blank screen and a display.
