When was last time you replaced Lamp? Ballast Board is what powers the lamp on.
Lamp Fan, if it is defective it will shut lamp off to protect it, if it is Not cooling the Lamp.

I do suspect the digital board with the part number of BP96-02084A. You shouldn't have to replace anything but the digital board for a freezing issue. Whn these boards are changed the settings need to be written from the board manually or electronically saved to what they call the DMD board in the TV. If not the possibility of the color looking wrong is great once its replaced.

I would suspect the lamp first as they can cause intermittent shut down issues.

what i would do is crack into the tv and watch the individual parts being careful not to unplug anything while you take the back panel off.....turn it on and see what happens. let me know what happens
