You need to replace both of the convergence ICs they are number STK392-110 you can get new replacement ICs at the following link and they provide free instalation instructions so you can do the repair yourself which tkes about 30 minutes to do and saves you about 400 dollars. heres the link. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
This is like so many sets I have seen here. This problem has to do with the shutdown circuit turning the set off to protect it. As has been said many times this is a problem with the HV section which inclused the deflection, convergence, and horizontal output. These sections can not be repaired by someone who does not have electronics experience. I would suggest that you take this telvision to a repair shop in your area.
