I am unable to uninstall a program called The last Airbender. I opened Contro; panel, remove programs. When I click on the file I get a promt that reads "could not open INSTALL.LOG file. What can I do. It takes up quite a lot of memory

Go to the control panel, look for program and features if its Windows '7' or '8' or add/remove programs in Windows 'XP'.
You will get the list of programs, look for the weatehrblink, select it and do the right click or double-click on tyhe application. You will get the option for uninstall or change, click on uninstall.
The program will start uninstalling, click on 'OK' or 'continue' if ever promted during uninstallation.

Normal UninstallThe first thing you want to try is to locate Avast in the Add/Remove Control Panel and try to remove it from there. Follow these instructions to accomplish this.

1) Click on Start, Control Panel
2) Open Add/Remove Programs
3) Find Avast in the Programs list and highlight it
4) Click Remove and follow the prompts to uninstall Avast
Using the Avast Uninstall UtilityIf for some reason the normal uninstall does not work, you may have to download Avast's own Uninstall Utility.

Be very careful which folder you choose since whatever folder is chosen will be completely deleted from your computer.

5) Once the uninstall has completed, reboot your computer. You may then try to reinstall it or another antivirus.

If for some reason the uninstall utility does not remove it, you may have to reinstall a newer version of Avast to then proceed to uninstall or you may have an issue where multiple antivirus programs are showing in the Windows Security Center.

If you are trying to uninstall the application Fliptoast used with/for Facebook then depending on what version of windows you're using (assuming you're using windows) go to: Start, Control Panel, Programs and select uninstall a program. Then find Fliptoast in the list and uninstall it from there.
If this does not remove it you can try a program call CCleaner and you can download it from here.
Once you have this program installed open it and go to Tools and Uninstall. Find Fliptoast in the list of applications, select it then choose Run Uninstaller.

follow these easy steps:
1)open my computer
2)click on Add and Remove Programs ,wait till is loaded then select your program that you want to uninstal and click Remove. 

You should have received a CD with the printer. I would go into the Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the drivers for this printer (if they were installed when you bought the printer). Next, insert the CD that came with the printer and install the necessary drivers and software. After a successful installation, you should not be promted for the "msi" file.

if you want to remove programm on your PC click on start locate control panel the click on hard and remove programm then locate the programm you want to remove and remove it. by clicking on the programm then follow the instruction. after removing in the control panel go the drive C locate programm file then locate the file of the programm you uninstall.

Try deleting all the files from the Photoshop folder in the Adobe folder in Program Files.
Then download a free program called ncleaner. just type ncleaner into google. after you install it, run it and press the Clean System button, then Clean Now. Just click yes when it asks you. Then click back to the main screen, and click find junk. that should get rid of any leftover files from the photoshop install.

If you have completed the unistall process with X:UtilcccUninstall_L3.bat.

Try a complete uninstall:

Make sure the USB cable is unplugged from the computer.

[If it is a WinVista Operating System Then in Go to Start> Control Panel> Programs and features delete all the entries you see for HP.( If it promts a restart do not restart now)
Rest all steps wil be same as winXP]

If it is a WindowsXP Operating System then:

Go to Start> Control panel> Add or Remove programs. and delete all the entries you see for HP.( If it promts a restart do not restart now)
Then open my computer> C:drive> Program files> and delete the HP Folder only (not Hewlett Packard)
Then Open C:drive> Program files> Common Files and then delete HP and Hewlett Packard folder.
Then Go to C:Drive> Windows> Temp and empty the temp folder as much as you can.
Then go to Recycle bin and empty recycle bin.
Then Insert the All-In-One CD and cancel the installation process.
Open the content of the CD> and open Util folder> Then CCC> Then click on Uninstall_L4 and follow the on screen process.

After all restart the computer.

2. Try scanning using the solution center
3. If you still unable to scan using the HP Solution Center try to check if there is Digital Imaging Monitor in the lower part of your screen. If you can not see it download the scan diagnostic utility.

Note : do not save the software. Just run it. If it still unable to solve your problem.
4. Click on start and go to control panel. Under control panel go to scanners and cameras. Try testing the scanners and cameras. If it works try restarting your computer and then try to scan.
5. Try to scan using a shorcut from the hp software. Right click on MyComputer and open it. Open C drive and go to ProgramFiles. go to HP and then go to bin folder. Under bin folder look for hpqscnvw.exe and try scanning using the software. If you are satisfied using the program you can put a shorcut of it in your desktop. If you are unable to scan using that program.
6. Uninstall the software using the CD. Do not use the uninstall button on the cd software. Once the installation screen would come up just click on exit. Open MyComputer and then explore the CD software. Under the CD look for the "util" folder and under it look for "CCC" folder. If you are connecting the printer using a usb cable unplug it. Then uninstall the software using the Uninstall l1, l2, l3 and l4. After uninstallation put a check mark on restart later and click ok.
7. Close all the programs you have open.
8. Click on start and then Contro Panel. Go to Add/Remove Programs. If there is an entry for the printer software uninstall it. After uninstalling it close the programs being opened.
9. Click on start and then Control Panel. Go to printers. If there is an icon for the printer delete it. Right click anywhere in the printer folder screen and then select server properties. Click on port tab. If you see their a port for your printer delete it. Click on the driver tab. If you see their a driver for the printer delete it.
10. Close all the programs.
11. Remove registry entries for the printer
11a. click on start and then click on run. Type in there regedit.
11b. create a back up registry by right clicking on computer and select export. The file name for the backup registry should be HPBackUp and save it on your desktop.
11c. After creating a backup registry. Delete printer entries. Click on the computer. Then Press and hold CTRL button and then f. A new window would open up. Make sure that in that window only the first and last option have a check mark. On the search box type in their printers. and then press enter. It will search for printer folder and under printer folder if you see there an entry for the printer delete it. Keep searching "printers" folders until you have completely remove the entry for the printer.
12. Download the software of your printer in the website. www.hp.com/support
13. Install the software again
14. Try scanning afterwards using the HP Solution Center

I imagine that it's trying to uninstall the older version to install the newer one, which it can't. NOTE: This is a desperate step. Delete the Cyberlink folder in C:\Program Files\; Go to Add/Remove Programs and attempt uninstall - it will say it can't uninstall, and ask you if oyu want to remove it from the program list. Click yes. Go to start->Search (or Find) and search for Cyberlink (make sure that Hidden and System files are being searched). Delete all Cyberlink files. Do the same, but with PowerDVD. Download and run CCleaner. Attempt to reinstall PowerDVD.
