I have been trying to install a new cyberlink power dvd version in my computer but this message appears before i am finally finished. "An installation file support could not be installed. The system cannot find the file specified." What do i do? This also appears even if I try to uninstall my old cyberlink power dvd program from the Control Panel's Add or Remove Programs.
I imagine that it's trying to uninstall the older version to install the newer one, which it can't. NOTE: This is a desperate step. Delete the Cyberlink folder in C:\Program Files\; Go to Add/Remove Programs and attempt uninstall - it will say it can't uninstall, and ask you if oyu want to remove it from the program list. Click yes. Go to start->Search (or Find) and search for Cyberlink (make sure that Hidden and System files are being searched). Delete all Cyberlink files. Do the same, but with PowerDVD. Download and run CCleaner. Attempt to reinstall PowerDVD.
You can uninstall PowerDVD from either Windows Start Menu or the Windows Control Panel. 1. Click " Start">- " Programs" >- " PowerDVD" >- "Uninstall PowerDVD", the uninstall wizard runs. Then you can follow the uninstall wizard to remove the program. 2. Click " Start" >- " Control Panel", and double- click " Add or Remove programs". Select PowerDVD, then click Change/ Remove. The PowerDVD will automatically be removed

I have deleted the the folder from program files and also searched for files called cyberlink & powerDVD and deleted them, however i get the same message, any ideas.
