Powers on, fan is running and lights are blinking, but no video signal output. Tried flashing the board like one person suggested, and replaced the RAM with a new stick, and still, i dont get a video signal to my monitor. Any suggestions?

Hi! there,
there are common factors why no video on your screen.,right one factor is ram,the other are video card, processor and monitor
you can't trouble shoot with out other computer available, tester cann't detected all this,it make easy to parts to parts.disconnect cd room, hardisk and floopy also disconnect your video card and memory card put video card and ram one by one (if youhave nultiple ran) to other computer ,be sure other computer is run good and observed, if no video take the previous video card and put back if there video, possible your video card is busted,or try to put other video card and ram to your pc be sure this are good,if ok select your own part that you think is busted since you said your ram is good, put back to your pc observed.....replace aby busted parts,
take all precaution avoid electric shock wear safety shoes.regards and have a nice day

What causes my Panasonic HDTV model PT-60LCX64 to start flashing green then red however never powers on.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, [Exclude the model number] in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

I have a gateway FPD1975W monitor with a Gateway GT5482E computer. The monitor does not display the computer output - the blue power light blinks off and on steadily and every so often the monitor says...

From your description you have a power supply problem, usually caused by defective capacitors, sometimes they will bulge at the top indicating an open condition. If you decide to repair check the inverter board that powers the back lights behind the screen, because they are also prone to bad caps.

Maxtor personal storage 3200 - flashing green light.

Solution:
First, disconnect the power cable from the back of the external hard drive:
If the power supply LED continues to blink:
  1. Connect the power supply to a different outlet (or instead of connecting to a power strip, connect directly to an outlet in the wall).

  2. If the power supply continues to blink after changing outlets, this indicates that the power supply is defective and needs to be replaced.

  3. If the power supply stays solid, then reconnect to the external hard drive and see if the drive spins.

Computer powers up, but monitor shows a self test

Your video output is bad. Either the video card, or the onboard video built into the computer. You need to swap out the card or add a card to bypass the built in video port on your computer.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.

It won't turn on!

Could be a power board problem. Anyone home at that time alone, possible internal damage due to spillage???? Pull harddrive, reseat memory and pull battery and try again.

No Output to monitor, no beeps, fans all OK

Hi karanda,
The green led on the board shows green letting you know there is power to the borad.
Does your GFX card have dual outputs? Try plugging into the other output.
If your monitor light goes from green to amber than your PCI-E is not putting out signal. Pull & re-seat video card.
Did you check Asus to see if your CPU is supported & check what bios version you may need to run CPU?
Chcek here: Check what your M2M-E supports.
http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

Your board only supports these two CPU's
Phenom 9500 (HD9500WCJ4BGD),2.2GHz,95W,SocketAM2+,Quad-Core
&
Phenom 9600 (HD9600WCJ4BGD),2.3GHz,95W,SocketAM2+,Quad-Core

You need Bios version 0802 in order to run the above CPU's.

Good Luck & kind regards!
