This Desktop makes beeping sounds with RED blinking lights, then shuts down

Possible bad power supply,or step down transformer.If the noise your talking about is a beep or a series of beeps then this is called a beep code or codes.

Refer to the manufacturer for reasons for beeps.

It sounds like yellow light of death. If you answer yes to these questions then thats what it is. I have a step-by-step instructions on how to fix it.

1. When you turn your console on, when it turns off does it beep 2 to 3 times before shutting down?

2. When it does shut down right before it does pay attention to the lights, do you see a yellow on blink once for a split second?

3. Afte the console shuts completely off does the red light just sit there and blink?

sounds kinda like a memory shut down code beeping or hardware shut down take side off and start unplugging hardware devices 1 at a time and try rebooting until it starts up

1st take memory sticks out and just put 1 of them back in a slot at a time and see if it will boot

Try holding the power down till you hear several beeps. Takes about 8 seconds.

Several problems were found
1. the touch panel PCB board had tracks which were damaged by moisture and had it repaired for $50 (Aus); this affected the advance function on the washing machine.
2. Controller motor was replaced with a rebuilt one (since the touch panel kept on shutting down).
3. Make sure that the wire holding the harness reed switch is tight (this I think controls the level in the washing machine).

Beeping upon startup is generally a problem with memory ..

4 beeps & 4 flashes mean problem with the power supply. For my experience, most of the time the PSU is good, it is just overloaded.

if it is a long beep then check ur ram, try cleaning ram. if not solved then there may be problem with ur ram try changing ur ram.

if it is short beep and if you have a display card installed check the display card
